Ans.  Tourist/Private person can apply for online reservation by logging into Him Atithi portal and clicking on the hyper link- https://himatithi.nic.in/DefaultRHBS.aspx

Q.2 :- How will Applicant search a Rest Houses for stay?
Ans.   List of district wise Rest House is available in “Book Rest House” option of portal.

Q.3 :- How does Applicant/Visitor know that reservation is confirmed ?
Ans.  After successful payment , booking status will be mentioned on acknowlegement receipt. Also applicant can check the status of booking on the portal at “Check Booking Status”.

Q.4 :- Can Applicant book services by telephone, e-mail or fax?
Ans.  No, booking can be done through online application only.

Q.5 :- How do Applicant/visitor cancel booking?
Ans.   Yes, applicant can cancel booking from “Cancel Booking” option available in the portal but booking amount will be refunded.

Q.6 :- How does Applicant/Visitor know that my reservation is rejected?
Ans.   In case of failure of payment, booking status will be mentioned on acknowlegement receipt

Q.7 :- Where can Applicant/Visitor find the contact details of the Rest House?
Ans.   Contact details have been provided in “Contact Tab” of the website.

Q.8 :- Can Applicant request an extra bed for a third person in the room?
Ans.   No

Q.9 :- Are the notified rates on website based on per person or per room?
Ans.   Tarrif charges are Rs 1000/-for Non Himachali and Rs 500 /-for Himachalis per day per room respectivel.
