Jal Shakti Vibhag has 87 Houses/Inspection Huts/Kissan Bhawans/VWSC Bhawans all Over the State. Many of these Rest Houses are located in the remotest corners of the state amidst picturesque location. The Government of Himachal Pradesh has decided to open 87 such Rest Houses to Tourist/Private person through online booking system, so that tourist can enjoy a comfortable and affordable stay in these beautiful locations.

Ans.  Tourist/Private person can apply for online reservation by logging into Him Atithi portal and clicking on the hyper link- https://jsvhp.resthouse.nic.in/

Ans.   List of district wise Rest House is available in “Book Rest House” option of portal.

Ans.  Applicant will receive a message on registered mobile number. Also applicant can check the status of booking on the portal at “Check Booking Status”.

Ans.  No, booking can be done through online application only.

Ans.   Yes, applicant can cancel booking from “Cancel Booking” option available in the portal.
